Restorative Dentistry
Most people eventually need some form of restorative dental care. Our advanced restorative dental services help increase the function and strength of your teeth when damage has occurred.

Bridges
Dental bridges are supported by natural teeth or implants and bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth. A bridge is made up of two crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap, and a connector in between. These false teeth are called pontics and can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain or a combination of these materials. Some bridges toward the front of the mouth can be made in a single visit using our CAD/CAM technology.

Crowns & Inlays
Even the strongest teeth can sometimes break under pressure. By capping or, if needed, completely covering severely damaged, discolored, chipped or cracked teeth, dental crowns can restore their shape, size, strength and appearance. Dental crowns can also do everything from keeping teeth weakened by decay from coming apart to holding bridges in place. Unlike many dentists, we can restore your tooth with a permanent porcelain restoration IN ONE VISIT. Using the latest in CAD/CAM technology, our CEREC will use digital imaging to create a virtual restoration. Following the imaging process, you can relax as our milling unit transforms a solid pressed ceramic block into a gorgeous crown in just minutes.

Implants
One of the newest solutions to the age-old problem of missing teeth, dental implants are durable enough to last a lifetime. They are placed into the bone, then restored to replace lost teeth or retain loose dentures. Dr. Ramsbottom will assess the area requiring an implant and refer you to a specialist for implant placement. After healing, our team will restore the implant with an abutment and crown.
